Breeding Philosophy

I have been breeding English Labradors since 1980.  Every breeding is planned to produce the highest quality puppies.
All our girls are the result of our 39-year breeding program.  Being able to go back in their pedigree assures us that there are no health or temperament surprises.  What does this mean to you?  It means that you will receive a healthy, happy and socialized puppy that adds to the joy of your family.
We bottle feed our puppies in addition to their nursing from their mother.  Bottle-feeding puppies

strengthens the bond of love and devotion that they share with their human parents.  Our puppies are raised inside our home in a family environment.  Our nursery is right in the center of our house.  Here, they will experience and adjust to the sounds of everyday life.  Sounds such as the vacuum, dishwasher, television, stereo and children playing to name just a few.  This is just the beginning of the socialization that your puppy receives.   Puppies learn by looking to us for guidance, approval and love.  Just like children, puppies learn what they live.

We find it invaluable to temperament test each puppy.  This helps us match the right puppy with the perfect family.  While one third of a dog’s ultimate behavioral makeup is attributed to genetics, two thirds of that behavior is from socialization, training, nutrition and health.  In order to grow into a well-rounded adult, puppies must be socialized during all phases of their growth.  We will get you started but it is up to you to take it from there.  Puppies are required by Florida law to remain with us for a full 8 weeks before they can leave for their new home.
Weekly photo updates help you share in your new puppy’s growth and development.  We welcome and encourage you to come visit your puppy to start the bonding process before they leave our home.

Each puppy will receive a complete physical examination by our trusted veterinarian, and their first series of scheduled vaccinations.  Your puppy takes home their very own copy of my personal book which is complied from over 39 years of experience.  This book contains a shopping list, care instructions, training tips, and other valuable information, as well as, their AKC Litter Registration, Certified Pedigree, State of Florida Health Certificate and AKC Reunite Micro-Chip Registration.  Think of the book as a refresher course in everything "puppy".

Our puppies are two thousand three hundred dollars.  All puppies are sold with an AKC Limited Registration.  We do offer a program where an AKC Full Registration is available.

Sorry, but we are not comfortable shipping puppies.  We would be happy to meet you at one of our local airports so that your puppy can travel in the cabin with you.  A flight nannies can also be arranged.
We hope that by the time your puppy leaves our home you know that we are here to answer any questions.  We make a commitment to every puppy and their new owner to be there for a lifetime of support.  A large part of our responsibility as a breeder is to help educate the public about this wonderful breed.
Please feel free to call or e-mail for additional information.  I love talking about our girls and their puppies.
